Have you been joining me, along with the CTWW (Change the World Wednesday) Gang, to help change the world and raise eco-awareness? Well, Reduce Footprints has recycled her original eco-challenge. This week we are to SAY NO to purchasing or using paper towels. You can read about last weeks efforts to save water, here and also check out the current paper towel challenge.
I’m proud to say we are already a paper-towel-free home, we still have some actually, but we haven’t used any in about 6 months. Please check out my un-system of rags used for cleaning up a variety of messes.
Do you have any old t-shirts that need retiring? How about re-purposing them!? You can get a good 6 rags out of one t-shirt! Anyone up for the challenge???
GO GREEN!

Such good advice! We're building our rag supply.

Thanks for the advice – I never would have thought to use old t-shirts, but that's a great idea!! I think I might start using this technique in my house too.
